“O Con: An Event for Everyone” is a wonderfully wild story of connection, perseverance and goodness. For Matt Fujan to build this fortress of acceptance through utter adversity is inspiring. The most amazing part of our connection is that I did not know Matt until after he moved to my hometown area in Michigan and worked across the street from my childhood home! Life has a way of connecting people at the perfect time and I’m honored to be able to tell Matt’s story.

Director Biography – Amanda Trudell

Originally from Michigan, Amanda Trudell is all about adventure. She moved to Omaha in 2014 with her horse. She was broke, and the horse was not!

You’ll typically see her with a smile on her face – or perhaps a flicker of mischief. She has an innate love for people and sharing the world with them. That passion for people has primed her for telling their stories through the lens of her camera.

Formally trained at the College for Creative Studies, Amanda has nearly 20 years of professional video experience under her belt buckle. She received a Student Emmy Nomination for her film “The Island of Strang(e)” and has produced nationally-viewed content for The Hallmark Channel and RFD-TV.
